Address: 1736 Swan Creek Rd. Hamptonville, NC 27020
The area surrounding our micro-farm is a popular getaway for city dwellers seeking a refreshing day trip. Rolling hills and cow pastures provide a picturesque backdrop for visitors. Nearby wineries include the renowned Raffaldini, Laurel-Gray, Castello Barone, and Sotrio Vineyards. Just a short drive from Swan Creek Farm, an Amish store offers handcrafted goods and homemade bread, showcasing the simplicity and charm of rural life. This destination perfectly blends relaxation and exploration for those eager to discover more.
Parking
Cars and vans are fine. However, we do not have turnaround for campers, buses, wine limos, or trailers. Parking outside of the fence can be treacherous as the traffic is traveling over 50 miles per hour.
Stopping By When We Are Closed
We cannot accept visitors during our "closed" days and times. Folks see cars at the barn and think that it might be okay to "pop-in" but it isn't as we are in production making products throughout the week. Additionally, we live here and appreciate it when people respect our privacy and refrain from stopping by when we are not open to the public.
WARNING
Under North Carolina law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death.
You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
The State of North Carolina sought to encourage agritourism; however, farm lands, such as ours, have inherent risks that are not typically found in other business settings. It would not be feasible to allow people on private lands without a liability exemption, as there are deep ditches, electric fences, sharp tools, uneven ground, holes, and countless other risks. For safety reasons, please stay in the vicinity of the store and do not wander around the property.
